Objective: To review all procedures, expectations, and guidelines for class.
-Review course guidelines, rules, and procedures
-Distribute parent letters
-Identify continents and go over expected reading syllabus
-Discuss: What does a society need to survive? To thrive?
-Student short essay: What are my strengths and weaknesses in writing?
-Student project: Complete a "Book Cover" of your life, to be used in portfolio
HOMEWORK:
-Purchase a three-ring binder and tab dividers
-Get parent letter signed
-Complete essay and project if not completed in class
